What you ask us most often
Does the treatment damage the hair?
A badly performed smoothing treatment can break the hair. That's why we always start with a diagnosis and choose the product based on your hair fibre, not on a standard protocol.
What is the difference between keratin and nanoplastia?
Keratin smooths and protects the fibre. Nanoplastia works deeper, with nanoparticles and amino acids: it smooths and rebuilds in the same step.
Can I have my hair coloured before or after?
After. We don't do colour here, but if you have it done elsewhere wait a few days after the treatment: a strong smoothing treatment can lighten coloured hair by 2–3 shades, and colour done before risks being lost and having to be redone.
Why does my hair feel greasy after the treatment?
It's the hair's pH that hasn't been rebalanced. It's solved with a restructuring treatment after the smoothing one.
Are the cut and blow-dry included?
Yes, from €120 up they are included in the price of the treatment. Below that figure they are not — a detox peeling, for instance, is a step on its own. They are not done on their own.
How can I pay?
In the salon you can pay by card or in cash. You can also pay in instalments: how it works is something we explain when we schedule the treatment, before you commit to anything.
When we don't do a treatment
Bleached hair
Not everything can be done on bleached hair, and how long to wait is not a fixed rule: we decide it in the consultation, looking at how much the bleaching has affected the elasticity of your hair.
Pregnancy
During pregnancy we advise against chemical treatments, smoothing treatments included. What can be done in the meantime is something we look at together in the consultation.
Breastfeeding
At this stage we advise against chemical treatments, smoothing treatments included. The priority is your wellbeing and your baby's.
Hair that doesn't pass the assessment
If in the consultation the strand test doesn't respond well, we don't go ahead. We decide together where to start again from, and we try again when the fibre can take it.
